The expedition of My Camera... From nature to abstracts.. The pictures that speak hundred words in the silence. They are the Talking Pictures..."A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know." said Diane Arbus.I also believe so. This nature freaked girl grew up with the sole idea of coloring the nature in her canvas so many times... But painting them wasn't that easy either .. and so I decided to freeze them by my camera.

An imaginary voyage
Each cup of tea represents an imaginary voyage.
~Catherine Douzel
Its Tuesday late night and morning was so fresh with a cup of tea that made my day warm and kept my spirits viking types. No doubt each cup of tea has a story. Somewhere ambition hidden, somewhere happiness shared with someone special, some cosy sleeps and many a bundles of aspirations. I dedicate this picture of mine to each and everyone who loves tea and only tea.
Current Mood: Desperate for the Wednesday morning ginger tea :)

World Malaria Day
“People who claim they don't let little things bother them have never slept in a room with a single mosquito.”
While I was at office today evening, I got quite a noticeable number of mosquito bites and realized that today is 25th April.
25th April is celebrated as World Malaria Day all over the world. 25 April is a day to commemorate global efforts to control malaria. The theme of the fourth World Malaria Day - Achieving Progress and Impact - heralds the international community's renewed efforts at making progress towards zero malaria deaths by 2015.
Current Mood: Fight against Mosquito bites and mosquito spread diseases.

Earth Day,2011
"Every day is a earth day."
(Author Unknown)
Then why do we observe it only on 22nd of April?
Founded by US senator Gaylord Nelson (an environmental teach-in), the first Earth Day was observed in 1970, on this day, to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day.
With the rising pollution levels and speeding urbanization, over exploitation of natural resources, over-harvesting of forest produces and illegal wildlife trade, the earth is losing its precious life forms and many of its unique biodiversity. The sooner man realizes the value of environment, the better it will be for mankind.
As the famous saying goes:
Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
~Cree Indian Proverb

Good Friday
"But from this earth, this grave, this dust,
My God shall raise me up, I trust."
~Walter Raleigh
Good Friday, the day when Jesus Christ was crucified and forced to death in the cavalry. According to the Canonical gospels, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. His resurrection is celebrated on Easter Day or Easter Sunday.
Let us pray, dear friends,
That God the almighty Father
May heal the sick,
Comfort the dying,
Give safety to travelers,
Free those unjustly deprived of liberty,
And rid the world of falsehood,
Hunger and disease.
Amen!
