Day98/ 365

The Sunday Morning...
The expedition of My Camera... From nature to abstracts.. The pictures that speak hundred words in the silence. They are the Talking Pictures..."A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you the less you know." said Diane Arbus.I also believe so. This nature freaked girl grew up with the sole idea of coloring the nature in her canvas so many times... But painting them wasn't that easy either .. and so I decided to freeze them by my camera.

Evening snack~
Day 34/ 365
February 3rd, 2013
Evening snack~ Some boiled/ steamed Nendran banana
CSH loves south indian food. Blame it on his south indian genes. I was initially reluctant when he said these are boiled bananas. But it seemed tempting and actually it tasted great. Slightly tangy and sweet. I loved hogging on this delicacy. Supposedly Kerala special.
Here is a recipe for how to do it.

Strangers in the Night
A simple afternoon of a weekend .. Its Saturday.
Burrowed this book Strangers (not rangers) in the Night by Ruskin Bond (one of my favorite writers) from a friend,
found an old knick nack- An Entada (Elephant pod) Seed that I collected during May 2007 during my 1st visit to IISc (many memories got freshen up),
with some new twigs of Money plant (just settled them into a new pot) and
a glass of orange juice..!
I am indeed in peace with my inner soul. :)

Orangey in a Winter Noon!

"California is a great place to live if you're an orange."
~ Fred Allen
~ Fred Allen
Who will agree to Allen's quote. I wonder..!
These
days Californian oranges are available everywhere around the world.
Sitting in Bangalore, in my terrace, on a winter forenoon, I enjoyed the
tangy-ness and sweetness of this citrus fruit to the best. Wasim's love
was evident in that orange half.. ! One half he enjoyed and other half I
had sinfully eaten..!
To
make it a memorable day and of course a worth-dollar-moment, I had to
rush inside the house, get my camera and freeze it there.!
Oh what a delight this fruit is to eye and to mouth..!

Bread...
"A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou."
~ Omar Khayyam
Oh, how much I love the English style of breakfast... bread, butter and jam...! Of course to accomplish that, I need a cup of hot tea...! And the day becomes a bright sunny day.. What a wonderful kick-ass in the morning!!

Dessert...
“Desserts are like mistresses. They are bad for you. So if you are having one, you might as well have two.” ~ Chef Alain Ducasse
This is indeed sinful; when you have a plate full of hot Jalebis and chilled curd (yoghurt)!
A perfect summer dessert, oops anytime dessert for me..! I can't resist myself and my temptation for this Indian sweet. How much I love this delicacy is evident at Jalebi Point. :)

Kiwi Passion
Very recently, not more than a day beore I got to taste this sinful fruit. OMG... I got the instant craving towards this fruit..KIWI
A latest study mentions Kiwi to be the most nutritional fruit. After reading it, I have decided I want to have one kiwi fruit a day.. Who knows, the saying can be "A kiwi a day keeps you healthy and happy".
For more info on Kiwi's goodness for health, read here.
