With the though of hot steaming cup of ginger tea, I say myself "Wake up, Monday...!"
Mondays are always bizarre for me. I suffer from the syndrome "Monday Blues". I am sure many of us do suffer from this. I find difficult to get up in the morning, have weird sort of aches in my body too (I'm sure nobody will believe me; but its true). I even get headaches and nausea feels.
Nevertheless, a cup tea gives me the life and the vibe to get up from bed, start my hectic week ahead..!

"Drinking a daily cup of tea will surely starve the apothecary."
This holds very true for a cup of adrak wali chai....!
It Thursday and I am already getting the weekend pangs..! huh.. I just love resting and lazying the day inside the house..! I hate going to workplace, working under someone's instructions..! I hate traveling back home and then cooking..! Huh.. I hate a lot of things around me, in my daily cores, and in my day to day life. But I have no option other than to try and like them, to cope up with instances and the sudden happenings of the day, to adjust with a husband, a boss, a list of such people around me, whom I would never let go that easily.
A morning tea (gingered one, they call it adrak wali chai) and some positive energy through touch therapy kicks me to stand up and work till the midnight.
This pic is a tribute to the fighting me spiriting inside me..!

As like a flower can't blossom without sunshine, a man cannot live without love.
~ Max Muller
Tomorrow is a Monday again. However, I am not scared of my Monday Blues. I am planning to go to workplace and do some serious work.
When I get bored at office, I usually indulge myself into scribbling something or the other in my "to do list" notebook.. Scribbling for me can be a haiku or a doodle or something else (name it as abstract art-forms).
This picture was doodled on 9th May'11 (when Google celebrated eminent illustrator and children book author, Roger Hargreaves 76th birthday).I was so much inspired by this that I too sketched my favorite character- "Little Miss Sunshine".
And as Little Miss Sunshine says~ "All we need is love and a little bit of sunshine".
Hope you too have a great week ahead that has loads of love and little bit of sunshine...!

I love collecting unique knick-knacks..!
Guess what, I had been to this mela (KalaMadhyam Mela, this May) at CKP in town and came back home with these cute birdies along with other antique goodies. These birds were so irresistible. I got tempted at the first sight, and bought them all.
Now they are displayed in my closet. At times, they are above my head, pinned into my hair-up-do-buns..! And I love each one of these.
As the famous saying goes (Henrik Ibsen)~
"A forest bird never wants a cage."
But these birds love their special cage- the black, long, whirly and wavy curls..!
And so do I, the proud owner of these bird hairpins!

Oh, It's one more Monday... As the night is creeping in, everything seem blue to me.. Huh.. !!
I just hate Mondays...!
However, this morning-tea is a boon. Its sort of a 'kick-ass' for me - from not leaving my comfy sleep to letting me leave the bed, getting ready and rushing to workplace to start a new challenging week..!
I'm sure its gonna be a typical Monday Roller -coaster ride..!
And as always, I have been suffering from the Monday Blue Syndromes since last Saturday night... But this cup of tea (in my favorite cups) is gonna break that iceberg making me active and agile, back to a 'workholic' mode with a bang..!
That's the story of my Monday Tea. Whats yours story?

A photograph is the pause button of life.
~ Ty Holland
I started this blog in March 2008 and I have come so far...! I have realized that something which is kick-ass for me is photography. I feel revived, happy, active, peaceful and above all satisfied when I have my camera around and am on a mission to click something or the other.
As Aaron Siskind quotes
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
I know, when I am no more in this world, everyone who was , is and will be a chapter of my life book will surely remember me through my blog...!

A hand that makes yummy sugarish pink candies of different shapes..!
Sometimes the shape is that of a bird or a bicycle, other times it is a snail or a motorbike. Sometimes a girl or an umbrella, many a times, the shape is a chicken (hen) or a flower!
I was always fascinated towards this candy when I was a kid. Though it looks unhygienic, I used to like them and had stolen money for it quite a few times from dad's wallet.
This photo is so close to my heart. It revived my childhood memories.

If you are too heated, it will cool you.
If you are depressed, it will cheer you.
If you are excited, it will calm you.

Every Cup of Chai speaks a different story...!
To enjoy the sip, you need to listen to it and feel it. :P
Hope you have a great weekend..!

The fragrance always remains in the hand that gives the rose.
~ Heda Bejar
Flowers are a unique form of offerings to the god. In front of temples, one can see the florist shop. Since ages, flowers are a source of going near to the god. The busy hands are alwys engaged intricately making the garlands for the puja.
Once weaved into a garland, a flower is no more a single flower. It's only place is in the neck of the Lord. When single, its under Lord's feet..
And we believe when a flower drops from the god's head (fore-head) (while offered as a worship), that's a blessing..!
I too got one today, I meant "a blessing"..!
