Curiosity ....

is the Wick in the Candle of Learning.
~ William Arthur Ward

Stay curious and let the learning process flow..!
This reminds me of one of my favorite professors from Master days. He always quotes ~ "Lets learn together. We all are here to learn and so lets learn together."

These candles bought from Auroshikha, Pondicherry are my all time favorite smells. :)

The sky is the Limit

I believe that if we get out of people's way, the sky's the limit. The sky is the limit.
~ Glenn Beck
Let's give each other the space to breathe, grow and expand, so that they too reach the limit~ the sky of their dreams!!
Hope you all have a great Monday.

Day is like making Morning Tea

Day is like making morning tea~
Boil your ego,
Evaporate your worries,
Dilute your sorrows,
Filter your mistakes,
Get the taste of happiness...!

This cup of tea dedicated to a friend whom I met in August 2007 at WII... For you Shalini...!
Hope your weekend is happening as like you.

Bhumika: Woman's face is a fiction

A man's face is his autobiography. A woman's face is her work of fiction.
~ Oscar Wilde
After a friend suggested me to watch the famous movie of late 70's with Smita Patil as the protagonist, I realized woman is the ultimate creation of god. She is like water, clear and stable yet can be turbulent and violent. Like an ocean with hidden treasures, she has deepest of deep emotions hidden inside her. When I was a kid, I had read this story of Mrs. Parker. And the jist of the story says "Where women are concerned, they are always unexpected".
The moment I saw this mask hanging in a folk mela, it instantly made me remember the famous Shyam Benagal's "Bhumika".

Wake up Monday..!

With the though of hot steaming cup of ginger tea, I say myself  "Wake up, Monday...!"
Mondays are always bizarre for me. I suffer from the syndrome "Monday Blues". I am sure many of us do suffer from this. I find difficult to get up in the morning, have weird sort of aches in my body too (I'm sure nobody will believe me; but its true). I even get headaches and nausea feels.

Nevertheless, a cup tea gives me the life and the vibe to get up from bed, start my hectic week ahead..!

Gardening Knick-knacks

I love collecting knick-knacks. These gardening decors are from Ochre. Ever since I came to know Ochre (in 2008 Kalamadhyam Mela), I have loved their work and bought them. I am in awe with their creativity. I guess now I have almost all of the creative animals that Ochre creates in their creative chamber. The brains behind these cute stuffs, Mr. and Mrs. Ganguly have been too creative to play with ceramic and clay and glazing colours  to come up with these beautiful creations (from ants to bees, to beetles to dragon flies to butterflies and mushrooms.

Thursday Tea

"Drinking a daily cup of tea will surely starve the apothecary."
~Chinese Proverb

This holds very true for a cup of adrak wali chai....!
It Thursday and I am already getting the weekend pangs..! huh.. I just love resting and lazying the day inside the house..! I hate going to workplace, working under someone's instructions..! I hate traveling back home and then cooking..! Huh.. I hate a lot of things around me, in my daily cores, and in my day to day life. But I have no option other than to try and like them, to cope up with instances and the sudden happenings of the day, to adjust with a husband, a boss, a list of such people around me, whom I would never let go that easily.

A morning tea (gingered one, they call it adrak wali chai) and some positive energy through touch therapy kicks me to stand up and work till the midnight.

This pic is a tribute to the fighting me spiriting inside me..!

Current Mood: Taking a small break from work (I, in fact scribbled a haiku here).
